Ningbo Case Pavilion
The practice of Tengtou Village in Ningbo, Zhejiang is the only rural UBPA case of the Shanghai Expo. Tengtou is a successful example of urbanized villages in China. It seeks to strike a balance between developing tourism and protecting the eco-environment. The pavilion consists of several featured areas including Sounds of Nature, Close to Nature, Moving Images, Interactive Signature, etc. The concept of Sounds of Nature is inspired by the 24 solar terms of China. In the Close to Nature area, visitors can experience the environment and rich rural flavor of Tengtou.
