At Expo 2010 Shanghai will have the opportunity to articulate, through this symbol, three key concepts to show the world a modern face than the country: the passion of the Colombian people, the heart that identifies Colombia is Passion and the Chinese language .
During the Exhibition, Colombia will not only be represented by passion, hospitality and drive that characterize people. Through most valuable asset, the Colombian worker, talented and strong, we will present the world a country that can be considered the best “Strategic Partner / Partner of Choice.”
A country located strategically to do business in Latin America, competitive, talented and attractive for foreign investment with potential for further political and economic relations and possessed of a unique natural and cultural heritage.
The flag of Colombia is located in Area C which are also countries in Africa, Europe and America and has as neighbors to the United States, Canada, Brazil and Peru.
It will be a modern structure that combines and highlights cutting-edge and traditional elements of our culture. An architectural design constructed with wood paneling, fiberglass frames with prints that mimic the pre-Columbian stamps in low relief and tempered glass with contemporary Colombian art prints that highlight the best aspects of our culture.
