Cambodia Pavilion
The pavilion fully embodies Cambodia’s sense of cultural heritage protection with its three historical periods: Angkor Period, Odong Period and Phnom-Penh Period. These three periods have witnessed the development of Cambodia since its establishment to its modernization today, with rich culture, art, historical relics and abundant natural resources.
Stone-built Architecture in the Angkor Period: Traditional techniques for building royal monasteries, temples, roads, bridges, reservoirs and hospitals by ancient Cambodians are displayed in the Angkor Period.
History of City Construction in the Odong Period: In this period visits can witness how Cambodians constructed their cities with timber.
Legend of Phnom-Penh: Present how Cambodians built their capital of Phnom-Penh with cement, gravel and sand and the legend of how the city got its name.
