Pavilion of International Network for Bamboo and Rattan

The INBAR is committed to promoting the sustainable use of bamboo and rattan. Bamboo and rattan is used to make the pavilion’s exterior, interior and floor, which is eco-friendly. Various exhibits made of bamboo and rattan, such as instruments, furniture, containers and ornaments, display the important role of such materials in daily life. The exhibition also shows the organization’s global network and its contributions to poverty eradication, environment protection and international cooperation.

Highlight 1: The short movies on the LED screen on the exterior wall present the favorable living environment created by bamboo and rattan as well as the charms of nature.

Highlight 2: The video column inside the pavilion is a showcase for different bamboo structures in the world and the significance of bamboo and rattan to human life.
