    Shanxi Province will spotlight the province’s history and culture, energy and future at the Expo. The entrance of the 600-square-meter Shanxi Pavilion will feature traditional Chinese wooden Dougong brackets fixed layer upon layer. Inside, visitors will be able to explore Shanxi’s World Heritage sites – the Yungang Grottoes, the ancient city of Pingyao and Mount Wutai. Its traditional culture such as paper-cutting and piyingxi (shadow puppet play) will also be on display. With the theme of civilization and energy, the province aims to show its splendid history,current development and future planning to the world.
