Jilin Pavilion

The exhibition of Jilin Province in northeast China at the Expo will feature its famous Changbai Mountain, the most symbolic landscape in the province. The exhibit will unfold a picture of harmony between human beings and nature. Mixing with the mountain garden, forests and Tianchi Changbai Mountain, the design was contributed by the ideal of a livable city. Visitors can experience a tour of Changbai Mountain in the 4D cinema and enjoy beautiful snow scenes of Jilin during Shanghai Expo.

Jilin Pavilion Scenery

Jilin Pavilion takes “Create a Green Livable City, Enjoy a Modern Beautiful Life” as its theme to show the green developing idea in the northeastern Chinese province. The pavilion unfolds a picture of harmony between humans and nature, close to the main theme “Better City, Better Life” of Expo Shanghai. Combining the mountain garden, forests and Tianchi Changbai Mountain, the special design illustrated the idea of a livable city.

The exterior appearance of Jilin Pavilion is like Changbai Mountain with forests underneath. A lively printing, which consists of the image of forests, Changbai Mountain and Tianchi, showing the exclusive landscape of Jilin is made by art application of lighting.

Jilin Pavilion Installments

Jilin Pavilion has three exhibition areas. Entering the first area, visitors will smell the fragrant of pine forest, which is also shown by colourful dawning art and multimedia, and feel like in the real nature. In the second area, an interactive screen and high speed car simulator are provided for visitors to feel the high developing speed of economy and culture in the cities of Jilin Province. Visitors can experience a tour of Changbai Mountain in the 4D cinema and enjoy beautiful scene of Jilin Song in the last area. Jilin Pavilion wants to show a modernized city in the forest, and that is “Better City, Better Life” in Jilin style.
