    Pavilion of International Network for Bamboo and Rattan

    The INBAR is committed to promoting the sustainable use of bamboo and rattan. Bamboo and rattan is used to make the pavilion’s exterior, interior and floor, which is eco-friendly. Various exhibits made of bamboo and rattan, such as instruments, furniture, containers and ornaments, display the important role of such materials in daily life. The exhibition also shows the organization’s global network and its contributions to poverty eradication, environment protection and international cooperation.

    Highlight 1: The short movies on the LED screen on the exterior wall present the favorable living environment created by bamboo and rattan as well as the charms of nature.

    Highlight 2: The video column inside the pavilion is a showcase for different bamboo structures in the world and the significance of bamboo and rattan to human life.

    Pavilion of League of Arab States

    Incorporating 22 stands, the pavilion present the image of ancient and modern Arab cities and the Arabs’ aspirations for the future, focusing on various aspects of life in ancient cities including culture, architecture, lifestyle, natural resources, trade and economy. It depicts the urbanization progress of 22 ancient cities and the influence of historical changes in the Arabian life.

    Highlight 1: Posters, books, PPT presentations, movies and internet access are provided to introduce the activities of the LAS.

    Highlight 2: A discussion Session/Lecture around “The Arab City & Urban Development” are organized.
