Suriname Pavilion

The pavilion is built as traditional Surinamese house and courtyard. Exhibitions about primitive Amazon rainforest, totem poles and EI Dorado showcase Suriname’s brilliant culture and art, picturesque natural scenery and traditional urban life with multimedia presentation and exhibits.

Highlight 1: Totem Poles – The totem poles, sculpted by outstanding artists, are of distinctive Surinamese features.

Highlight 2: Statue of EI Dorado – In the courtyard, statue of EI Dorado is located at the end of the creek where the currents turn golden brown.
