Zambia Pavilion

Focusing on the theme, Zambia Pavilion showcases its beautiful natural sceneries, challenges encountered during urbanization as well as the solutions, through exhibition of urban development practices and existing projects.

Highlight 1: Mystery of Houses of Stone – The simulated stone house in the pavilion will create a vivid ambiance for visitors. The Houses of Stone of the Great Zimbabwe Ruins adding more mystery to the country. The famous Zimbabwean stone sculptures will also be displayed, each symbolizing a specific spiritual belief and conveying a special cultural message.

Highlight 2: Zimbabwean Bird – In the centre of this area perches the “Zimbabwean Bird,” the symbol of the country and its citizens. The bird not only is the cultural icon of Zimbabwe, but also represents the extraordinary achievements in the art of stone sculpture.

Highlight 3: Spectacular Victoria Falls – The pavilion also cleverly incorporates another feature of Zimbabwe – waterfalls – into its design. The beautiful scenery of the Victoria Falls will be presented by means of light and other effects, which also conveys a message of Zimbabwean’s determination in transforming its communities for a better life.
