Zambia Pavilion

Focusing on the theme, Zambia Pavilion showcases its beautiful natural sceneries, challenges encountered during urbanization as well as the solutions, through exhibition of urban development practices and existing projects.

The pavilion is divided into three areas. Upon entering the pavilion, the visitors will first be attracted by the spectacular Victoria Falls, which is considered to be the spirit of the Zambezi River of Zambia. Entering the big central area “Town Square”, visitors will see in the center a large screen projecting the model of the city of Lusaka, around which there are four different types of architectures: a red brick residential building, a cluster of crude dwellings, a commercial building and a skyscraper. On the walls around the square, four key projects of Lusaka will be displayed: construction of an industrial park, renovation of humble neighborhoods, improvement of transportation facilities, and management of water resources.
