Seychelles Pavilion

Seychelles Pavilion comprises three exhibition areas: nature, tourism and city. Drawing inspiration and elements from the country’s natural resources and human culture, the pavilion focuses on displaying the “wonder” of balance between nature and cities.

Stepping into the pavilion, visitors will be enchanted by the beautiful Coco de Mer palm forest, the shimmering blue light like the waves of the sea and the imitation of curiously-shaped stones, and will have the feeling of wandering around the natural scenery of Seychelles.

Area 1: Spirit of Nature – The fruit of the precious Coco de Mer tree is used as the main designing element. Vis-a-vis the vast expanse of Coco de Mer forest, visitors will feel as if the cool wind from the sea were blowing around them.

Area 2: Land of Dream – Featuring the unique Seychellois granite landscape and employing static and dynamic multimedia methods, the pavilion will present an all-round exhibition of Seychelles’ gorgeous scenery.

Area 3: Balanced City – Symbolizing modern civilization, a spindle-shaped column is standing against the dreamy seaside landscape. Around the column, flocks of fish are dancing in the changing light. Photos of smiling faces and typical images which represent the country’s urban civilization will be cleverly put into the scene to form a beautiful picture of harmonious co-existence between human and nature.
