Senegal Pavilion
Senegal Pavilion will display the country’s relentless efforts in urban renovation and infrastructures construction which aims to protect environment and improve its economic and living standard.
The layout of the pavilion draws inspiration from the contour of map of Senegal and the colors of the national flag, with display walls, real objects and multimedia as its major exhibition forms. The exhibition of the pavilion covers the following four aspects: the newest infrastructures of international level; the complex economic zone; the management of water, forests and sanitation; and the business cluster of tourism, handicrafts and cultural industries. At the entrance, the statue of a majestic lion stands by a gigantic baobab in the artificial bush, which is to show a nation that combines traditional heritage with modern elements. When you step into the pavilion, you will see a series of engineering projects under construction concerning railways, roads, expressways, ports, airports, dams and bridges, as well as the dynamic economy based on these facilities.
