Through exhibition and various activities, Mozambique Pavilion will showcase the progress of its cities. Meanwhile, visitors will learn about the nation’s wisdom in emphasizing regional development in a bid to achieve planned goals and sustainable development.

Entering the pavilion, you will be enchanted by the unique scenery and culture of Mozambique. It is divided into four areas: a school, a traditional cottage, a modern residential building and a hospital. The four areas are linked together by the “Zambezi River”. Also on exhibition are two important projects: the Armando Guebuza Bridge and the Cahora Bassa Dam. The modern residential building is located at a corner in the front part of the pavilion, a place for welcoming visitors and displaying information. The area consists of four projects, concerning public engineering, urbanization, road construction and groyne. The school, hospital and traditional cottage are located at the rear part of the pavilion, showcasing Mozambique’s unique architectures and related projects. The school, symbolizing the country’s education and culture, is rectangular in shape and made of traditional materials. The hospital represents Mozambique’s achievements in science and technology. It is built as a modern building where the scientific progress and technological projects in different regions of the country will be displayed. The small cottage with a rounded appearance is also made of traditional materials. Representing the tourism industry, it showcases the development of tourism and hotel industry in Mozambique.
