    Comoros Pavilion

Comoros Pavilion will introduce its uncanny creatures, unique landscape and cultural achievements, reflecting people’s sincere wish for harmonious relationship between human and nature as well as the pursuit of sustainable development practice.

Highlight 1: The Old Vendredi Mosque – At the foreside of the pavilion, the application of traditional architectural elements and the combination of sound and light effects make visitors feel as if they were right on the scene. The Arab-style windows open to the world, and hospitable people, dancing and singing, invite you to join in a traditional wedding. At the other end of this area, a coelacanth model always reminds you of humannature coexistence.

Highlight 2: The Karthala Volcano – The Karthala Volcano is showcased at the rear part of the pavilion. Comoros came into existence because of the volcano. Here, you will also see Comoros’ various wildlife and unique terrain features.

Highlight 3: The Ocean – The section between the Old Vendredi Mosque and the Volcano will be designed to resemble the ocean and the coast. In this ‘ocean’, there will be four display cubes, each representing one of the four islands of Comoros and displaying the unique features of the island.
