Pavilion of Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa
The COMESA, with its secretariat in Lusaka, Zambia, is the largest and earliest organization established in Africa to realize economic integration by strengthening the trade and investment ties between its member states. The pavilion, including areas for exhibition and interactive activities, presents the unique charms of COMESA states, and COMESA’s efforts to establish a free trade area and promote balanced socioeconomic development in its member states.
Highlight 1: The giant mural vividly depicts the Eastern and Southern African people’s daily life.
Highlight 2: There are short movies on the LED screen showcasing the new faces of the member states.
